What does Sebastian Exportaciones do?

We are an exporter based in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico. We source Mexican handcrafts and furniture from the best workshops in Tlaquepaque and Tonalá, inspect every piece, pack it and ship it anywhere in the world, with all the paperwork handled.

What products can you source?

Equipal chairs, solid wood tables and furniture, tin lamps and lanterns, chandeliers, hand-blown glass, Talavera and ceramics, textiles, ironwork, clay floor tiles, bricks and decorative pieces. If you don't see it here, just ask.

Can you make custom pieces?

We work directly with the artisans, so sizes, finishes and colours can be adjusted. Lead times depend on the piece.

Do I have to deal with each artisan?

No. We place the orders with each workshop, receive the goods, check quality and consolidate everything into one shipment with one invoice.

Where do you ship?

Worldwide. We have shipped to the United States, Costa Rica, Spain, France, Denmark, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong and Australia, among others.

Do you ship small orders or only containers?

Both: from a single piece by air to full containers by sea. We recommend the best option for your volume and timeline.

How do you protect the goods?

We inspect every piece before packing, use export-grade packing and pallets, fumigate when the destination requires it, and insure the shipment.

Who handles customs?

We handle export clearance in Mexico and prepare all documents: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and fumigation certificate when needed. Import clearance in your country is done by your customs broker; we can recommend one.

How does payment work?

To confirm with the owner: deposit percentage, balance and payment methods.

How long does an order take?

On top of production time there is transit time, which we confirm in the quote based on destination and shipping method.

How do I track my order?

We send you the tracking or shipment details and update you at every stage until delivery.

What do you do with my data?

We use it to quote, ship and invoice your order. We only send you marketing emails if you agree, and you can unsubscribe at any time. We never sell your data.
